President Andrew Mitchell
An experienced pilot, his career in aviation started by learning to fly C-152's. Like most of you he fell in love with the idea of flying for a living. He became a flight instructor in the NYC area, then moved up to Chief Flight Instructor. While instructing he was also a Part 135 Charter Captain of a piston twin engine. Later he took a position as Director of Flight Training running a flight school with 14 instructors and about 75 students. Still yearning to be a pilot, he left the flight school and flew his first job as a 121 pilot in a Beech 1900. He later switched companies and flew EMB 145's. While at the regional level he was a captain on the EMB 170-175 and was selected as a Check Airmen before leaving the regionals to fly for a major legacy carrier where he flies today. Throughout his career he has had the opportunity to interview many candidates and was able to see areas where pilots were coming up short on interviews. He also personally interviewed at over 5 regionals and 4 majors throughout his career. At AIPS we look forward to helping you reach your dream.

Too many friends and colleagues have gone on interviews without my preparation because they didn't have time or felt it was too expensive. The result was a lost opportunity and job that some can never re-apply for. As a pilot I know you have invested and sacrificed so much in your career. Just as you prepare for a flight, prepare for your interview. You need to use all the resources out there for you to be successful. We will give you the best training available to reach your goals. It is worth the time and money to do it right the first time.
